She is a stylist in demand in Kampala, working fashion shoots, commercials and movies alike and is a commercial and runway model herself.
Lilian also holds a degree in Communications and Organizational Studies from Makerere University, is studying for her IATA qualification and provides MCing as well as partnership development for Batalo East.

She has been mentored by Nakaweesi Catherine, Tebandeke Samuel and Kristina Johnstone (based in South Africa) and has done collaborations with artists from Senegal, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Rwanda and DRC.
She is a Travel Consultant accredited by IATA and a proud mother.

Interim Dance Fusion teacher at Ambrosoli International School Kampala, Uganda. , He is the House dance instructor and choreographer at Clay Dance Company, Watoto Church, Kampala, Uganda.member and student of Breakdance Project Uganda.
He is a core member for Batalo East a non-profit organization formed to bridge and strengthen the gap between traditional and urban arts.
Through his career, he has gotten opportunities where he has performed, learned from professionals and shared his experience at big platforms like Ecole De Edit, Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou, Laba Arts Festival Kampala, Umoja Cultural Flying Carpet , Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Break Project Uganda, annual Hip hop for society event among others . He is determined to share with the world his art and be part of the global change agents.

Previously, Joshan worked as an accountant for Watoto Child Care Ministries. She currently works as a Financial Controller for Batalo East Limited, works as a freelance accountant, manages Stylz Fashion House and Trance Enterprises.
She graduated with honors with a dual degree in Business Administration and Accounting & Finance Management.

Sebulime Elisha Davis

He has been very fundamental in setting up and formulating visions for youth Organizations like Breakdance Project Uganda, Soul-Xpressions and a committee member of Batalo dance fest for the last 7 years. As an entrepreneur, Sebulime established an animal and crop farming business to create employment and the profits support the non-profit programs of Soul-Xpressions, which won him recognition by Tony Elumelu Foundation in 2019.
Sebulime believes in educating young Africans to think outside and beyond the colonial systems to change their narratives, mindsets and to create resources from within to build sustainable livelihoods for Africa.
Media Manager | Youth Facilitator
Social Media Marketing: optimize, maintain, monitor and lead the platforms and any marketing strategies carried out in organizations: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, by posting every day four times a day using covered footage from Batalo activities.
Content creation and management: content marketing mostly photos and videos. Interaction with users: community engagement in submitting applications and giving suggestions as well. Social commerce: leads, calls to action and conversions in social media. Monitoring: online media, information sources, and social channels. Determining the inspiration and motivation of the work carried out, justifying the quality of the actions taken and, of course, the results thereof.
Coordination and management of press and communication tasks: contents, interviews and open discussions (pod cast), exclusive acts, etc. Monitoring follows ups on the footage: photos and videos from photographers and videographers for timely posting and event updates.
Have a certificate in IT, Graphic design, Website designing, and Employability Skills. Youth facilitator of over 5 years experience, carrying out creative facilitation workshop with some schools and organizations. Well experienced with leadership skills in terms of working with other youth in the company and youth exchanges.

A dancer from 2009-present, 2009-2013 specialized in traditional dances. 2014-present, specializing in urban fusion with traditional. Dance is not only a wonderful way to express myself but also a fantastic spare time activity I enjoy with friends and connect me to many people. Dancing boost my mood, helps me to forget everything around me and allows me to bond with the community.
Among others, he is a committee member of the Batalo East festival and he co-founded the dance company Tabu Flo Dance Company (2007), renowned by CNN African Voices and The Economist Magazine. He received the Pina Bausch Fellowship (2017) at the University of Auckland - New Zealand, to search for personal artistic development as a dancer as well as explore the dialogue and exchange with the grounded theory on dance technique and community dance methods. He was awarded the 2019 Caroline Plummer fellowship of community dance in Dunedin at the University of Otago.
His project sought to build and bridge communities using dance as the tool to zoom into the topics of ‘Individuality’ and ‘Commonality’ amongst people, as well as breaking down barriers between community dance practice and academia. He has worked in diverse cultural, artistic, and social contexts.
These include disadvantaged communities in slums and orphanages, theatres, festivals, schools, and universities in Uganda, Europe, and New Zealand. His work has sought to engage and empower communities, taking a conscious humanizing pedagogical approach.
